Aquatic Programs

Private Swim Lessons

Exercise and learn new techniques, or learn the strokes necessary for quality swimming in a one-on-one educational setting. Serious learning and serious fun! If you have family and friends who would like to take semi or multi-private lessons together we can arrange with an appropriate instructor. You must know the other party in order to schedule the semi or multi-private lessons. Register and purchase lessons at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex LifeStyles desk and we'll arrange for an instructor based on your needs. You must pre-register and purchase lessons before an instructor will be scheduled. No private, semi-, or multi-private lessons during group swim lesson times.

30-minutes Single (single person) $18
1:1 student to instructor ratio

30-minute Semi (2 people) $15/person

3 to 6:1 student to instructor ratio

Parkie's Babies Instructional Swim Lessons
Ages 3 months-3 years with parent
Parkie’s Babies Infant/Parent class takes your child through five progressive levels of water adjustment. A wonderful opportunity to spend “aqua-lity” time with your child while introducing him/her to skills such as: kicks, floating, bubble blowing, jumps and so much more!

Parkie's Paddlers Swim Lessons
Ages 3-kindergarten
Developed for preschool through kindergarten age, your child will enjoy swimming using appropriate techniques and games geared toward developing skills, while emphasizing water safety!

Level Lessons
Ages 1st Grade-14 years
This program emphasizes stroke development through seven levels.Your child will experience a well-rounded aquatic experience, while learning the skills needed for successful swimming.

Adult Lessons
Ages 15 years & up
It is never too late to learn how to swim! Conquer your fear of water or just refine your strokes in this innovative and fun swim class!


Aqua Aerobics

Ages 16 years & up
Have a splashing good time while you get a serious workout! If you purchase an unlimited splash pass you can enjoy as many classes per season as your wish for one price. Otherwise buy as 20 punch card or just drop in to enjoy one of our fabulous classes, but please sign up for the classes you will regularly attend so we can keep track of attendance. Weightless Aqua
This class will take place in the diving well with floatation belts to allow a great full body workout with no impact on knees, hips or ankles. We will use barbells, noodles and weights to strengthen arms, legs, abdominals, and much more.

Power Splash
This exhilarating aqua workout uses fun and athletic moves in deep water to give your body a complete cardiovascular
workout.

Pilates Infused Water Aerobics
For a cardio workout that maintains the principles of Pilates, try this water aerobics workout designed for every shape. Optimal posture and body alignment are emphasized to help you burn calories and splash your way to a healthier body. This class is fat burning, core strengthening and low impact to your joints.

Aqua Step
The challenge of step with the benefits of water, this class takes aqua aerobics to the next level. Using an aquatic step, experience high intensity cardio and sports-inspired drills in an easy to follow format. Each class ends with ab work and stretching. We will provide the Aqua Step with a special non-skid step. Water shoes and water bottle are recommended.

Fit & Flex
We have created this spunky but fun mid-morning exercise program to help you gain or maintain your personal fitness goal. We focus on coordination and balance along with cardiovascular exercises to also help build endurance and body strength. A selection of aqua props will improve abdominal, back muscles and more.

AM Energizer
Start your morning right with aqua aerobics and cardio, overall toning and strength, including abs and flex. Feel energized throughout the day. Expect to use a variety of aqua gear for a full body workout. 

Aqua Power
A well-balanced combination of aquatic exercise movements including toning, stretching, sculpting, aerobics, as well as endurance and stress relief. Discover the power of water by using a variety of props for an uninterrupted fitness experience.

Fin 2 B Fit
Try this new challenging workout that will train every muscle to peek performance and raise your endurance level in order to conquer daily challenges with ease. All exercises are performed with fins on your feet and bar bells in your hangs. Please bring your own fins.

River Runner
A cool way to run in the heat! Try running in our Lazy River; this class focuses on running form and heart rate. Station training and heart rate are focused in this class which is designed as low impact. Please bring aqua running shoes or aqua socks to this class. On Tuesday's we are offering this class as a parent/child river runner class.

50/50 Deep/River
A best of both worlds this class is going to be in both the deep well and the lazy river outdoors in the evening. We will use portions of the River Runner class and add some deep water exercises to really bump up the energy burn.
