Danceforce

Bolingbrook Park District Danceforce is the Park District's award-winning, nationally-acclaimed performing dance company.  Click here to check them out!  


Private and Semi-Private Dance Lessons
Private and semi-private dance lessons are available for those students in our program looking for one-on-one instruction to improve their dance skills. Private lessons are for a half hour or an hour and must be pre-arranged.
1/2 hour private    $20
1 hour private       $30
1 hour semi-private (2-3 dancers) $45

Suggested Dance Clothing
Boys-Warm ups or sweat pants and T-shirt
Girls-Creative Movement,Pre-Ballet,Ballet / Tumbling,
Ballet/Tap, Ballet-Leotard & tights
Jazz, Lyrical Jazz-Leotard & tights, jazz pants, fitted stretchy clothing.
Hip Hop, Kidz Hip Hop, BPD Danceforce-Jazz pants, stretchy clothing or warm ups.
Irish Dance: Stretchy clothing.

Creative Movement: Ballet shoes

Character Wear
The Bolingbrook Park District dance program offers a cool and trendy line of clothing for boys/girls & men/women. Character Wear was created to provide clothing with positive messages and designs at affordable prices, and they are great to workout in. Character Wear is available at all dance events and specific days/times during the week.

Class Syllabus
Bolingbrook Park District dance department remains a step ahead, improving the quality and professionalism of our program by providing participants with a class syllabus. The syllabus details the content of the class they will take and outlines what skills will be taught. This provides both the participant and family with valuable information pertinent to their overall training.

Power Dance Project

Much like the Bolingbrook Park District Danceforce, the POWER DANCE PROJECT is a dance program geared for children ages 6-18, which takes place right after school AT their school! This year’s schools include: Bolingbrook High School, Brooks Middle School, Jane Addams Middle School, Builta Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Jonas Salk, Tibbott, Wood View, Oak View, Indepencence, BJ Ward, and St. Dominic School.. If the program isn’t running at YOUR school, you are most welcome to join up with a school near you…it’s that easy!
