The Bolingbrook Park District's developmentally appropriate preschool program engages all aspects of a child's learning; social, emotional, cognitive, and physical. This well-planned program includes hands-on experiences and fosters the belief that young children learn through purposeful play. We saturate the preschool environment with opportunities for self-expression, discovery, decision making and intellectual growth relative to each child's developmental pace. Preschoolers play an active role constructing their knowledge base. Their experiences shape and reinforce this process, helping them become successful life-long learners.
