Fundraiser at Buona Beef

JBSRA and BUONA Restaurant & Caterer are teaming up to host a Buona Benefit Day on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Bolingbrook restaurant (303 S. Weber Road ….630-343-1333).

The Buona Benefit Day can earn JBSRA between 15 - 25% of the sales generated for the entire day from open until closing (that’s 12 hours of potential profit for JBSRA). This is another wonderful opportunity for JBSRA to raise funds easily without having to sell wrapping paper, chocolate bars or magazine subscriptions. The best part of the fundraiser is that everyone has to eat! Why not treat yourself, your family, your co-workers out to lunch or dinner (or BOTH…if you feel adventurous) at BUONA and raise money for your favorite SRA…….JBSRA!

The only requirement is that supporters of our Buona Benefit Day must identify themselves by presenting the official fundraising flyer upon ordering.

INCLUSION

JBSRA provides inclusion services for individuals who wish to participate in general recreation programs. An individual with a disability can have a beneficial and rewarding experience by participating with their peers without a disability. JBSRA can provide support to an inclusive experience by training staff, adapting activities, working with behavioral modifications and providing support staff.

Each individual needs to be aware of a few simple guidelines prior to an inclusive experience. When registering, make sure to indicate on the registration form that you need accommodations. Be aware of and able to follow the rules of conduct for the program, with or without accommodations. Be willing to participate in the scheduled activities. JBSRA works cooperatively with you and the Park District to provide reasonable accommodations. Call Jill Mukushina, Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor, at (630) 739-1124 to discuss accommodations for participation.
