Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex is available for open pickleball play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00-10:30 am. Please wear gym shoes. Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Nets will be provided with limited supply of paddles and balls.

In this five week course you’ll learn the basic stitches, concepts, and components of crochet and pattern reading. We will go over all the how-tos and whatnots you need to know to wrangle this hobby. We’ll go over chain stitches, single, and half-double crochet stitches; when and how to use magic rings and slipknots; how to decipher pattern abbreviations and yarn wrapper information; and several ways to seam a square. All materials and gadgets will be supplied on the first day of class to use in class.

The LEGO Robotics Academy is a comprehensive program where children learn to design, build and program projects based on LEGO Education robotics. Using a creative educational approach that supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this class uses teacher-led instruction followed by fun, engaging, and dynamic activities. Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineering concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Creative challenges are given to students as they progress through levels. The Robotics Academy is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience.
