  • Camp Alotta Fun (Ages 6-14 years)

    Camp Alotta fun will provide campers with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fun and exciting activities. Located at Volunteer Park (Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex), campers will participate in arts and crafts, games, sports, music, nature, swimming, trips to local parks, and field trips. Campers will be placed in groups each session with others as close in age as possible. Counselors are certified teachers or college students working toward degrees in education or recreation. Camp meets rain or shine. Campers should bring a sack lunch with a drink each day. Child must be age specified to participate in this program.

    Teen Time Fun Camp (Ages 12-14 years)

    Why sit home when you can experience all sorts of summer fun! That's what camp is all about. Every day we let our imaginations take us to places we've never been before. Along with special theme days, we will swim, go on field trips, and get messy with some great arts and crafts projects. Information packets and camp calendars highlighting our fun days will be handed out after receipt of registration. Child must be age specified to participate in this program.

    Sunrise/Sunset Extended Camp

    Working or busy parents help is available! This before and after camp has an assortment of activities for your child. Different activities will be structured depending on the number participants and their energy level. Parents can register for Sunrise session (7:00 am to 9:00 am) Sunset session (3:00-6:00 pm) or both. Participants must be enrolled in the day camp program to participate in this extended camp program. Child must be age specified to participate in this program

    Eco-Voyagers Camp
    Age 6-7 years

    Get down and dirty investigating nature. Campers will have fun participating in activities like hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing, climbing and wilderness survival! Join us for one or ALL of Hidden Oaks Nature Center’s Eco-Voyagers Camps fit to fill your summer with nature FUN! Campers are required to bring a lunch, snack and refillable water bottle daily and their own bike and helmet for bike day.

    Eco-Trekkers Camp
    Age 8-10 years

    Trek through the great outdoors to discover Illinois’ amazing habitats and the plants and animals that call them home. Investigate trees and flowers, while searching for insects, animals and ecosystems! Get your feet wet, while exploring wetland habitats and the creatures that live there. Campers will have fun participating in activities like hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing, climbing and wilderness survival! Join us for one or ALL of Hidden Oaks Nature Center’s Eco-Trekkers Camps fit to fill your summer with nature FUN! Campers are required to bring a lunch, snack and refillable water bottle daily and their own bike and helmet for bike day.

    Eco-Explorers Camp
    Age 11-13 years

    Come explore Nature at Hidden Oaks. Campers will have fun participating in activities like hiking, fishing, biking, canoeing, climbing and wilderness survival! Discover everything from the ground up through hands-on science and interactive activities. Explore the wilds of water as we use nets to search for critters in area lakes, rivers and wetlands. Examine animal tracks & signs and uncover earth’s processes and ecosystems while enjoying outdoor adventures! Join us for one or ALL of Hidden Oaks Nature Center’s Eco-Explorers Camps! Campers are required to bring a lunch, snack and refillable water bottle daily and their own bike and helmet for bike day.
