Participants will learn the basics of soccer, t-ball, basketball, football, floor hockey and more. Each class is different and will emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship and fun! Parent participation required for ages 2–3.

Illinois Shotokan Karate Club is Chicagoland’s premier karate school taught under the instruction of John DiPasquale. Develop confidence, strength, and coordination skills through fun and creative classes. This program is specifically designed for growing minds and bodies to enhance memory and agility. Watch your child’s confidence blossom while learning karate and having a blast at the same time! Uniforms, equipment and belt testing are optional for an additional fee through the class instructor.
This is a non-competitive, introductory class for younger athletes. This class will teach the cheerleading basics and build confidence, strength, coordination and flexibility. Jumps, hand motions, tumbling, stunting and a cheer will be taught, as well as the importance of teamwork. Clean gym shoes must be worn in this class and hair must be tied back neatly out of face. No jewelry allowed for safety reasons.
In an organized, yet playful structure, this parent and tot this class is the perfect way to socialize your child, allow them to learn and follow instruction and get them moving! Skills required to master the course include fundamental movement, coordination, fine and gross motor skill development, and character-building. This class offers the best of gymnastics, martial arts, obstacle training, and freestyle movement combined into a brand-new sport. Our focus will be on confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility, and creative energy. Each Lil Ninja is required to purchase a uniform package prior to the start of class which includes a t-shirt and headband. Lil Ninjas should wear their uniform consistently once it is received. This class is for the ninja who has leveled out of Lil Ninjas and ready to take on the next challenge. Recommendation from the coach is required. This level will build on the ninja skills learned in Lil Ninjas with more focus on kicks, spins, tumbling and a combination of all three. Focus will continue with confidence, respect, listening, working towards goals, strength, agility, flexibility, and creative energy.
Is your toddler climbing on everything they can reach and never seem to be out of energy? This is a parent participatory class where our instructors will guide you and your child through introductory gymnastics skills each week using small bars, floor beams, tiny springboards, an array of skill blocks and octagons as well as our inflatable air trak. They will develop their balance, gross motor skills, hand, foot & eye coordination, as well as increase their strength, flexibility, social skills, and confidence.
The exciting world of gymnastics: where their energy will be transformed into tons of fun on vault, bars, beam and floor. This class for children who have leveled out of Preschool One and have been recommended from the coach. This class will build on the skills with more focus on technique, form, and muscle control. Development of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility are built into every lesson. Please make sure that children are potty-trained and out of diapers. Parents must stay in the lobby during the entire class for emergency for bathroom purposes.
Your child will develop coordination, strength, balance and confidence. Tumblers will learn the following skills: forward and backward rolls, straddle roll, lunge to handstand, cartwheel, bridges, splits and various jumps using tumbling equipment and our air trak.
Pre-Ballet is the perfect class for this age, both mentally and physically. Class includes a thorough warm-up, proper stretching and the continuous development of the basics of ballet. There is no pre-requisite for this class.

This class will introduce the basics of classic tap dance to help build a great foundation to move into our youth level tap classes. Participants will learn and understand rhythm, percussion, stylized movement, and build up their tap skills to a new level.

This class serves as an introduction to hip hop dance. This class focuses on rhythm, musicality, creativity, coordination, body awareness, and basic hip hop technique. It is a great way to get kids moving and introduce them to the many benefits of the performing arts.

Are you looking for a fun variety for your tiny dancer? Something that will have them excited about learning the basics of dance? Our Snack and Dance Class offers a unique opportunity for preschool age kids to continue learning in a class setting. After a quick snack (provided), your dancer will enjoy using songs, props, and much more to get their body moving.
THIS IS NOT A RECITAL CLASS.
Children enrolled in morning or afternoon preschool at the ACC will be escorted to or from preschool
or Snack and Dance. Children must be dropped off inside facility if attending preschool in the afternoon or picked-up inside facility if attended morning preschool. There is no curbside pick-up or drop off for this program. Snack and Dance is not included as a part of Preschool registration and enrollment in Preschool is not required to participate in Snack and Dance.

4 Year Old Program

Preschool Camp is a great way to add structure to your child’s summer. This program encourages development of math, science, art and reading concepts through indoor and outdoor explorations. Children will discover the outdoors using all of their senses. Children will take a field trip to Parkie’s Oasis each Friday. Each week has a different theme, so feel free to sign up for more than one week. Children must be toilet trained for this camp and ePACT must be completed by Noon Thursday prior to first day of Camp.
What do scientists do on their birthdays? They ce-LAB-rate! Your child will laugh and giggle their way to learning in this science club filled with fun. Each week children will be given a new challenge to solve using discovery, experiments, and activities. Time will also be spent exploring the meaning of what it means to be a Citizen Scientist as we find ways to use science to help our community. *This class is for children who are comfortable without a parent*
Drop your child off to play while you enjoy a stress-free evening out. They will spend a fun evening with friends enjoying activities and games based on a theme. Children can wear pajamas or play clothes. Must be toilet trained to attend this program.
Ages 2-6 years with adult (one adult with each child)
Toddlers and Preschoolers, invite a grownup to join you for these nights of fun.
We’ve got the recipe for fun. Starting with a different theme each week, we will mix in a dash of math, sprinkle in a little science, stir in some good table manners, and top it all off with lots of laughs. Children will get happy tummies and smiling faces by creating silly-themed snacks. Children must be toilet trained.
Looking for a fun way to bond with your toddler while socializing with other parents? Our classroom is open for an hour, but you and your child can join us any time and stay as long as you want. A playgroup facilitator will be available during the hour to provide equipment and supplies for play, music/movement, sensory fun and art activities. To ensure all enrolled attendees get the most out of this playgroup, older siblings must have other arrangements for care during this program. Session registration is required.
Little Learners classes provide children with opportunities to socialize, overcome separation anxiety, and be creative, all while enjoying their first classroom experience. Our time together includes free play, clean-up, and group time. Children will interact with age-appropriate toys, have sensory encounters, create both process and product-based art, and participate in music/movement activities. Our curriculum is planned using the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines for Children Birth to Age Three.

– Children do not have to be toilet trained for these classes.
– We request that you remain in the building during these classes.
– It is recommended that classes be taken in order, but children can be enrolled at any level that fits their age.
