Bolingbrook Park District Seeks Feedback for Century Park Design

The Bolingbrook Park District is seeking community input from residents on the development of Century Park, located at 1675 Apple Valley Dr. A public feedback session has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 2 at 6:30 pm at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex (200 S. Lindsey Ln.). Residents are encouraged to come and share their ideas and interest with Upland Design of what they would like featured in the park.

The State of Illinois has made grants available through the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) program. Development of Century Park will happen only if the Bolingbrook Park District application is awarded.

“This is a great opportunity for us to provide another park with an update,” said executive director, Ron Oestreich.  “We learned a lot at our playground feedback sessions earlier this year and look forward to what our residents have to say about an entire park.”

A follow-up session will be on Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 pm at the Bolingbrook Recreation & Aquatic Complex.  Upland design will present details based on the input from the initial feedback session.
