Pelican Harbor Outdoor Open Swim Beginning July 17

Beginning July 17, Pelican Harbor OUTDOOR Aquatic Park will open for public swim with limited attractions. Public swim time blocks will be 3 hours each for up to 200 people per session (subject to change).

Due to this limited capacity, we are only allowing Bolingbrook Park District residents and current Pelican Harbor Annual Aquatic Members at this time.

• Admission is $10 per resident or member
• Residents must show current driver's license or ID as proof of residency
• There will be no advance admission purchases.
• Open attractions include zero-depth entry pool, Parkie's oasis spray playground, small waterslides, sand play area, and sand volleyball (must bring your own ball)
• Indoor pool is not available for public swim. The indoor facility will continue to be used for lap swim and swim lesson.
• Admission for each public swim time slot is on a first come, first serve basis. Gates will open at 9:00 am, 12:30 pm or 4:00 pm.
• The swimming pools will be cleared of guests at 11:45 am, 3:15 pm and 6:45 pm to begin cleaning.
• Locker rooms are available, but guests are strongly encouraged to arrive ready to swim to minimize locker room usage.
• Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
• To ensure the park is not closed due to weather, call the rainout hotline at (630) 739-1777 before coming to the park. Please note the park may close if 25 people or less are in attendance, air temperatures are below 70 degrees or inclement weather.
• Unfortunately due to capacity limitations, we are not able to accommodate coupons or free admission cards at this time.

    Safety Procedures for Outdoor Park

• Inflatable tubes for the tube slide will be disinfected after each use.
• Guests are required to wear a face covering in the facility on-deck, not while swimming. Children 2 and under will not be required to wear a mask.
• There will be no deck chairs available for use. Guests are asked to bring their own chairs to the park.
• High touch surfaces in the locker rooms will be sanitized regularly throughout the day.
• All equipment will be sanitized and cleaned between time blocks.
• Hand sanitizer stations will be located in the bath house and on-deck in the park.
• A "Do Not Enter Zone" will be created surrounding lifeguard stations to encourage guests to maintain distance for safety.
• Lifejackets will be sanitized between use.
• Parkie's Oasis will be limited to 25 guests at a time.
• Six-feet distance must be maintained while waiting for attractions and concessions. Please adhere to the markings put in place.
• Outside food is not allowed. The concessions menu will be limited to packaged goods only in accordance to Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines.
