Discover the beauty of Hidden Lakes Hidden Lakes Historic Trout Farm is located near the northwest corner of Schmidt and Boughton Roads. In 1988, Hidden Lakes was acquired by the Bolingbrook Park District. It features four small lakes stocked with an array of fish. Animal Life Come visit us and enjoy watching the sights and sounds of nature at its best. You may see a whitetail deer, fox, raccoon, beaver, frogs, heron, or even a turtle. Trees & Plants Walk through the park and observe the beautiful display of wildflowers. There is a diverse number white, red, and burr oak trees, along with basswood, alder, black locust, willow, and pine trees. No matter what the season, Hidden Lakes is beautiful and you will feel a real closeness to nature. DuPage River Greenway Enjoy a walk, jog, or bike ride. The path offers a natural environment to exercise and enjoy beautiful scenery. Guided Nature Tours Group tours are available by appointment. The tours stress an understanding of nature and include exciting woodland and wetland activities. To make reservations, please call (630) 759-8199.
