With the momentum of the Women’s
World Cup being held in the United States for a
second consecutive time and the Bolingbrook Soccer
Club’s largest fall season participation in
2003, soccer in Bolingbrook for 2004 looks very
promising. The BSC has a team for those who enjoy
playing soccer for fun (recreational) and for those
who enjoy a higher level of competition (traveling).
Players who are at least 5 years old and not older
than 14 years of age as of May 1, 2004 are eligible
to play. The BSC does not require the selling of
candy, walkathons or raffle tickets. All we
ask is for your time as a volunteer. Volunteers
include concession stand helpers, coaches, referees
and team parents. The spring season runs from May
1 through June 26 (10 games). Registration is $40,
which includes a quality soccer shirt and a participation
award. To make any program a success and to ensure
everyone has an opportunity to play, volunteer coaches
are needed. Even if you know little about soccer,we
will educate you through our coaches’ clinics.
Registration may be limited based on the number
of coaches available in a particular division. If
you are interested in coaching, please call Tom
Cecola, Director of Adult Education and Training
at 739-5281.
Registration Dates:
New players to the BSC must have proof of age at
time of registration.
All registrations are at the Bolingbrook Recreation
& Aquatic Center.

The Challenger British Soccer Camp is coming back
to Bolingbrook in the summer of 2004. The camp dates
will be in August. The camp is open to players ages
4 through 16. Campers have fun and learn soccer
skills from professional British soccer coaches.
It's more than just soccer drills.This camp is an
educational experience involving the game of soccer.
